MU East Statement on Transparency and the Miss Universe 2026 Event

MU East remains fully committed to the successful staging of the Miss Universe 2026 Pageant and 75th Anniversary celebration in Puerto Rico.

As an indirect 50% stakeholder in JKN Universe, LLC, MU East has formally brought certain governance, compliance and financial matters to the attention of the Puerto Rico Tourism Company and requested appropriate clarification and review.

MU East does not seek to prejudge these matters or interfere with the Event. Its purpose is to help ensure that all contractual responsibilities are fulfilled, relevant information is properly disclosed and the integrity of the Event is protected.

MU East continues to support Puerto Rico, the participating countries, National Directors, delegates, sponsors and partners. We believe that transparency, responsible stewardship and cooperation are essential to preserving public confidence in the Miss Universe brand.

MU East will allow the appropriate processes to proceed and, at the proper time and subject to its legal and contractual obligations, will bring these matters to light with clarity and responsibility.
