The seventh and, so far, last Venezuelan woman to win the Miss Universe crown, María Gabriela was born in Valencia, Venezuela, in 1988. She holds a bachelor’s degree in management with a focus on Marketing from Universidad Tecnológica del Centro.

A model and presenter, she has served as a guest entertainer at various events, including the Latin Grammy Awards and the Billboard Latin Music Awards in 2013, as well as Miss Venezuela in 2014 and 2015.

In 2015, she became the face of social responsibility for the Venevisión television network during a campaign to prevent teenage pregnancy.

Since 2018, she has served as the Director of Public Relations and Training for the Miss Venezuela Organization, responsible for sending the Venezuelan representative to the Miss Universe pageant.

She married Venezuelan businessman Alberto Figueroa in 2018 and is the mother of a boy named Joaquín.

The sixth Venezuelan to wear the Miss Universe crown, she made history alongside Dayana Sabrina Mendoza Moncada by achieving the only “back-to-back” win in the pageant’s history, a feat recorded in the Guinness World Records. She was born in Mérida, Venezuela, in 1990 and works as a part-time model.

A model and entrepreneur, she has been the international face of Avon and launched her vegan skincare line, “Ammaterre Skin Care,” in 2019.

Stefanía moved to Colombia and married Venezuelan businessman Bernardo Asuaje in 2017, but they divorced in 2020. In 2021, she welcomed her first child, Liam, from her relationship with Venezuelan baseball player Ender Inciarte, whom she married in 2022. Her second child, Enzo, was born in 2023. She resides in Tampa, Florida.

The fifth Venezuelan to be crowned Miss Universe, she was born in Caracas in 1986.

A Venezuelan model, actress, presenter, businesswoman, producer, and film director, Dayana participated in the reality show “The Celebrity Apprentice” in 2012, produced by Donald Trump. In 2018, she ventured into production and film directing with the movie “Honey.” Additionally, she has worked as an actress in four short films and presented various television programs. She has been an exclusive model for Elite Models and Trump Model Management, walking the world’s main catwalks for renowned designers such as Versace, Roberto Cavalli, and Carolina Herrera.

She married businessman Michael Pagano in 2013 and is the mother of a daughter named Eva. Their marriage ended in 2016.

She is the fourth Venezuelan woman to wear the Miss Universe crown. Originally from Maracay, she was born in 1976 and studied Business Administration at the Universidad Tecnológica del Centro in Valencia.

An actress, presenter, singer, producer, and businesswoman, she has appeared in several telenovelas, including Samantha (1998), Hasta que el dinero nos separe (2009), and Una familia con suerte (2011), as well as in more than six films and four stage productions. She has also been part of various TV shows. In 2004, she released her first self-titled album, followed by Si se acabara el mundo in 2010. She has participated in several reality shows, including La Granja de los Famosos (2005), Cantando por un Sueño (2006), MasterChef Celebrity (2021), and ¿Quién es la Máscara? (2021).

She was the first Miss Universe in history to pose for Playboy magazine, appearing on the cover for the Mexican edition in 2006 and the U.S. edition in 2007.

In 2008, her daughter Dinora was born in Miami, and in 2010 she left her handprints on the Paseo de las Luminarias at Plaza de las Estrellas in Mexico City. She was diagnosed with cancer in 2014, a battle she has since overcome. She currently resides in the United States.

Bárbara Palacios Teyde is the third Venezuelan woman to win the Miss Universe crown. She was born in Madrid in 1963, but her family moved to Caracas when she was a year and a half old, making her Venezuelan by birth, according to the laws at that time.

She holds a degree in Advertising and Marketing, as well as a master’s in theology and psychology. Bárbara is the CEO of Bárbara Palacios Network and the creator of the “9 Steps” platform, which helps people achieve a holistic, faith-based lifestyle. She has written several books, including The Beauty of Knowing How to Live, Far from My Shadow, Near the Light, and Dare to Be Barbara.

She married Víctor Manrique in 1988, and they have two sons, Víctor Tomás and Diego Alfonso. Bárbara currently lives in Miami with her family and has participated in the “My Hope” campaign by the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, sharing her Christian testimony.

Irene Sáez was the second Venezuelan woman to win the Miss Universe crown. Born in Caracas in 1961, she went on to become one of the most renowned Miss Universe winners in history.

She built a notable modeling career and earned a degree in Political and Administrative Studies from the Central University of Venezuela, graduating with honors. Sáez also ventured into politics, serving as mayor of Chacao in 1992 and 1995 and running for president of Venezuela in 1998.

In 1999, she was elected governor of Nueva Esparta but resigned 11 months later for health reasons. That same year, she married Dr. Humberto Briceño León, with whom she had a son, Eduardo José. They divorced in 2002. In 2003, she joined the board of directors at Banc Group Colonial. She is now married to businessman Serafin García and resides in Miami.

Maritza Sayalero became the first Venezuelan woman to win the Miss Universe title. She was born in Caracas in 1961 and was studying architecture when she won the Miss Venezuela 1979 pageant.

At the end of her reign, she married Mexican tennis player Raúl Ramírez in 1980 and moved to Ensenada, Baja California. They have three children.

Sayalero has retired from public life and remains largely out of the spotlight, dedicating herself to her family. She has occasionally appeared as a guest at beauty pageants. In 2004, she was honored for her 25 years as Miss Venezuela and Miss Universe.

In 2011, she made a brief acting appearance in the Venezuelan youth telenovela La Banda, playing the mother of her own son, Daniel. She currently runs the Maritza Sayalero Self-Makeup School in Ensenada, Baja California.
