Official Statement Regarding the Misuse of an Internal Communication

The Miss Universe Organization (MUO) has been informed of the public circulation and misuse of an official letter dated October 29, 2025, originally issued exclusively to confirm a temporary authorization granted to the company Are One Inc., represented by Mr. Julio César Cruz, as franchisee for Miss Universe Cuba.

MUO wishes to clarify that the aforementioned letter was strictly intended for internal and sponsorship-related purposes associated with the organization and promotion of the 74th Miss Universe Competition. It was not authorized for public release, media distribution, or representation in any context beyond those specific functions.

As outlined in the existing agreement, the contractual authorization granted to Are One Inc. expires on November 22, 2025, unless formally renewed in writing by the Miss Universe Organization. Any continued use of the Organization’s name, logo, image, or correspondence beyond that date will be considered a violation of the terms and conditions of said agreement.

Furthermore, the Miss Universe Organization clarifies that no agreement, negotiation, or contract related to the 75th Miss Universe Competition (2026) has been issued, signed, or authorized. Any document or communication claiming such authorization shall be deemed invalid. The Organization strongly warns against unscrupulous individuals or entities who might attempt to use this letter or its contents for personal or commercial benefit.
