Nawat Itsaragrisil Appointed Chief Executive Officer of Miss Universe Eastern
Accomplished pageant industry leader assumes an expanded leadership role overseeing a team representing 95 countries
NEW YORK — July 31, 2026 — The Miss Universe Organization is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Nawat Itsaragrisil as Chief Executive Officer of Miss Universe Eastern.
Mr. Nawat assumes this expanded leadership role following his distinguished tenure as Vice President of Miss Universe Asiana. As Chief Executive Officer, he will lead the Miss Universe Eastern team, representing 95 countries, and guide the organization’s continued growth, regional development and international collaboration.

In his new role, Mr. Nawat will lead Mr. Monil Hathi, Managing Director and Mr. Pavan Misra, Head of Sales. Together, the three executives will provide coordinated leadership for Miss Universe Eastern and work as one unified team to serve the needs of customers, National Directors, delegates, partners, broadcasters and stakeholders throughout the Eastern region.
Mr. Nawat is widely recognized as one of the most experienced and accomplished leaders in the international pageant industry. His extensive knowledge, proven leadership and deep understanding of the industry will be instrumental in strengthening Miss Universe Eastern’s presence and supporting its network of National Directors, delegates and partners.
His appointment marks an important new chapter for Miss Universe Eastern and reinforces the organization’s commitment to strong regional leadership, operational clarity, innovation and sustainable international growth.
