A Digital Cinema Arts graduate from Lindenwood University, Susie booked an international performing contract in Japan, where she held a magical job at Tokyo Disneyland and learned to swim with a fin, not feet.
After two years in Japan and backpacking around the world, she landed a job state-side as a Program Manager at a marketing agency while simultaneously starting her own videography and media business. Susie competes in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and prides herself on mental toughness.
She is proud of her role as a Big Sister with Big Brothers Big Sisters of America and she has a community initiative called Media That Matters.
Susie says that comedy, a smile, and shared laughter are just a few ways she’s been able to connect with people all over the world.
Since starting Brazillian Jiu Jitsu in Japan with elite MMA athletes, she sees her body as a source of strength, confidence and empowerment… a mentality she wants all women to embrace.
She’s an accomplished solo traveler, having been featured on the Travel Channel and even spending two years in Japan working as a performer at Tokyo Disneyland where she learned to swim with a fin, not feet.
As a filmmaker, and through her initiative Media That Matters, Susie shares real stories of adversity... with one video of hers that crossed the nation, connecting a kidney disease patient with the perfect donor, ultimately saving her life.
