Born and raised in Vermont, Shannah Weller is employed at Collins Aerospace as an Import Specialist where she interacts daily with the global business community in regard to some of our Country’s most advanced technology in aerospace.
This has afforded her the opportunity to engage in many different cultures, languages and customs from around the world. Outside of work, she is an advocate for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, supporting CF patients and their families in memory and honor of her late sister who passed away last year. In addition, she is committed to developing and continuing a healthy lifestyle and encourages others to do the same.
She would describe herself as person who is empathetic, heartfelt, and seeks to be compassionate about the needs of others. The role of Miss Vermont USA provides her a pathway for redefining beauty, femininity, and the role of women in todays society. As a woman in a male-dominated field, Shannah’s goal is to be an example for the next generation of women and she is extremely proud to represent the Green Mountain State of Vermont at this year’s Miss USA pageant.
Born and raised in Vermont, I did a video series on my Instagram entitled, “Meet My State," in which I toured and highlighted famous (and infamous) landmarks throughout Vermont. One of the episodes was about Ben & Jerry’s, of course!
I was a cadet in my High School’s J.R.O.T.C program (Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps.)
I am an Import Specialist for one of our nation’s largest aerospace technology companies and I interact daily with clients from around the world.
