Mariah Tibbetts has always enjoyed giving back to her community and volunteers with various local charities including Big Brothers Big Sisters, The Alex Panton Foundation, Cayman Islands Department of Children and Family Services, Lean on Me Foundation, Meals on Wheels, Red Cross and much more.
She also works alongside the Cayman Islands Cancer Society as an ambassador to initiate positive change and support those affected by cancer, after watching numerous family members, including her older sister, battle the disease.
She is passionate about health and fitness, after discovering a love for working out which helped her get through her own mental and physical health struggles. Mariah has excelled in her education throughout her life, she finished university with 4 degrees and went on to become a Certified Professional Accountant.
Mariah is an advocate for female empowerment as well as a proud member of 100 Women in Finance and NextGen Cayman. Mariah hopes to inspire others to never let obstacles stop them - the very thing that was meant to break you may lead you to discover your purpose in life, just like it did for her.
Although Mariah lived on an island her whole life, she does not like seafood.
Despite Mariah's fear of heights, she loves rollercoasters.
Mariah has a hidden creative side and writes poems, stories and scripts.
