Tashi Choden comes from the country that’s often considered “the last Shangri-La on Earth.” Here to make Bhutan’s debut and make their mark, Choden is a spokesperson and advocate for LGBTQI rights, gender equality, and women’s empowerment.

Choden is a proud member of the LGBTQI community and is set on making a change and breaking stereotypes. Choden is not here to fit into Cinderella’s glass slippers, but to break through society’s glass ceilings.

Choden enjoys meeting new people as she believes there’s a lesson to be learned from every individual, and she loves to surround herself with animals because she believes they bring out her inner child.
