Nandita Banna is passionate about sustainability and using technology to improve people’s lives. She is currently an undergraduate student in a double degree program, studying Business Management and Information Systems at Singapore Management University.
She hopes to create a more equitable society, where everyone regardless of their background has access to the same resources and opportunities, such that they can develop their skills and contribute positively to their community. She has been a mentor for underprivileged children at Care Corner Singapore, providing them with emotional support, teaching them interpersonal skills, and playing games with them to relieve their stress.
She is also volunteering with underprivileged children to teach them various art skills to develop them holistically and encourage them to try new things. As an advocate for sustainability, she cleans beaches and recycles, encouraging others to do the same as well.
Along with her academics and community service, she enjoys being creative through dance. She likes to explore and try new things, such as learning languages, yoga, and playing the kalimba.
