She feels that her privilege is a tool she must use to bring communities closer with the use of compassion and an open mind.
With the production of the jewellery line that she and her sister created, they seek to contribute to social harmony and celebrate the value of self-affirmation through the creation of pieces that can speak to and for a generation.

In her alone time, Kawtar enjoys dancing, cooking, singing, curating music, songwriting, meditating, yoga, walking, and reading. These activities serve as mediums which better help her understand, liberate, and ground her sense of identity in order to better connect and contribute to the world around. Rather thank take space, Kawtar aspires to make space where empathy, connection, and love are main driving forces.
My favorite flower is titled the 'bleeding heart'.
I come from a country where a woman founded the oldest university of all time. Fatime el fihlia founded the oldest university of time in Fez in the 11th century, titled Al Qarawayn University.
'Kawtar' means abundance.
