Three words often associated with Irma Cristina Miranda Valenzuela are discipline, perseverance, and commitment. Family is a very important pillar of her life and even though hers lives in many different states, they remain closer than ever.
Valenzuela works with a nonprofit called La Comuna and collaborates with the National Institute of Migration in Mexico. She wants to create consciousness around humanity, empathy, and respect to others wherein human rights must be upheld regardless of religion, nationality, race, or economic status.
Valenzuela is passionate about folk dancing since 2011 and is a big fan of sports. She has been practicing tennis for the last five years, a sport that she finds challenging and allows her to escape from her comfort zone. She admires Serena Williams for her strength to overcome limits and to become the best player that has ever lived.
Valenzuela loves traveling as she sees it as an opportunity to improve herself and learn about other cultures.
