Private Banker, first-time author, and climate change enthusiast Angel J. Cartwright is strong, determined, passionate, and not afraid to succeed. Her platform “There is No Planet B” focuses on promoting conservation and preventing climate change. Cartwright aspires to increase the number of youth dedicated to conserving the natural resources of the planet. As a Conservation Ambassador, she hosts interactive presentations that teach students about the devastating effects of climate change and the ways in which The Bahamas can become more environmentally focused.

Cartwright continues to shatter glass ceilings and break the stigma that women in pageantry cannot be both beautiful and intelligent. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management at age 20 and is the first Bahamian to complete a Dual Master of Science in Finance and an International MBA at Florida International University.
