Altynai Botoyarova’s name translates from Kyrgyz as "Golden Moon.” Botoyarova has been competing in various beauty pageants since she was five years old with her first win as “Mini Miss Fashion 2010.” She is grateful that competing has led her to travel to many different countries, meet people from different backgrounds, learn new traditions and customs, and become independent.

Currently, Botoyarova is studying to become a designer and is also a professional model. She also enjoys horse riding and strength training.

At the age of 15, she sadly lost her father. She decided that life doesn’t stop and chose to move on in her dad’s memory. In 2021, she won the Miss Universe Krygzstan contest and realized that after every difficult time there is relief.

Botoyarova is also an activist in her country. She has been volunteering with children in orphanages as well as spending the summer months cleaning the beaches of Lake Issyk-Kul.
