MEET RENA

Daytime Emmy® award-winning actress Rena Sofer plays “Quinn Fuller Forrester” on The Bold and the Beautiful.


Sofer began her acting career after being discovered on the streets of Greenwich Village, New York, when she was 15 years old by a New York talent agent. She modeled before turning to acting. Her career began on the daytime dramas Another World and Loving. Sofer was soon cast by Sidney Lumet in A Stranger Among Us. Since then, Sofer has been working actively in both television and film. Her credits include an iconic episode of Friends, Covert Affairs, NCIS, Two and a Half Men, Heroes, 24, Ed, Just Shoot Me, Melrose Place, Seinfeld, Once Upon A Time, and Chicago P.D.


In 1995, Sofer won an “Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series” Daytime Emmy® for her portrayal as “Lois Cerullo” on General Hospital.


Born in Arcadia, CA, Sofer was raised in Pittsburgh, PA by her father, a conservative Jewish rabbi. Sofer currently lives in Los Angeles with her husband Sanford Bookstaver, her daughters, and their beloved rescue dogs. She celebrates her birthday on December 2.
