Kristen is absolutely gorgeous! She would look great in any color. I personally think it depends on the dress. Black is always elegant! However, if I were her, I would try to go with an exotic color maybe in a shade of green with a hint of gold or even turqoise.
My favorite in no particular order are:
USA, Japan, China, Spain, Zambia (with her hair natural), I think Colombia has a beautiful spirit, France seems very charismatic (but she might not make it to the last 5) Jamaica is also pretty and Turkey and Puerto Rico are elegant and pretty. I guess we will have to see!

Miss Brazil should be the winner of Miss Universe 2009. She is smart, beautiful and dominating the catwalk, to be natural and not pre-constructed as a machine that presses the button and do what they send ... Brazil was already injured with tremendous years of injustice: 1981.1982, 1985,1986,2003, and cowardly attack in 2007 with the beautiful Nathália Guimaraes, who today do not know how the organizers manage to live with such cowardice and slutty, so I think we reached our time! After the year 2007 the population did not much more to give credibility to the Miss Universe ... I am sorry, but I am very frank in my opinions ... that serves as a warning to the organizers that the interests ever ... beyond the reality of facts. Abraços ... Fan outraged and more 95% of the world today that can not swallow the evil that happened in 2007 where he took the title of beautiful Nathália Guimarães for Japanese Ryo Miori. There was competition of beauty, kindness, elegance, attitude and not competition to choose a successor to the matriarch of the Addam's family wanted to give the title to another country that was not Brazil. great! do something right now ... would you Miss Angola or Venezuela. Either way, Blue or Red- not yellow, or black. Red is a gorguose dress color, and ever heard of the song "Lady in Red". White would be nice too, but if you go with Red, white, or royal blue, you would not only be repersenting your country in dress color, but you wouold look beautiful!!!!!

I disagree. Red in a pageant is not a mortal sin. In fact it helps one stand out when the majority of the evening gowns are white, neatral, beige, etc. Everyone seems to like a white dress in a pageant, yes, but it is not always effective. In a pageant last year, a girl in a bright red evening gown won the overall crown amid a sea of white dresses. I also believe that one does not choose her evening gown, the evening gown chooses you. Regardless, whatever Kristen Dalton wears to Miss Universe will most likely be flattering. She is a very pretty girl after all.

I think the people who mention 'falling' are pathetic. I Kristen wears the gown that she feels her best in. The USA blue was beautiful. I think white, aqua, chartreuse, coral, etc. would also be great. I just hope the gown she wears doesn't have that 'stiff' look. Kristen has a very fresh look, and I think her gown should convey that 'feel' as well. By the way, I don't go onto other country's sites saying that their contestant won't win because "Miss USA is going to win". Negative comments like that can give people a bad impression of the country you're supporting. You can always be 'for' a certain contestant without being 'against' another one.

Well, why not white?? Blue looks nice, but she used it on Muss USA and Yellow is a nie color, but Dayana used it and unfortunately she will never look as good as her on it. red is a ortal sin in a beauty pagent and black is very neutral. they shoyld try white, fusshia, green or golden-brown instead.
