As founder and owner of the multi-million dollar, national hi-tech spa chain, Completely Bare, Cindy Barshop has become the go-to authority on lasers, waxing, skincare, and other non-invasive beauty treatments. Cindy is also well known for her Completely Bare product line. The goal of the line is to give women at home the same quality treatment they would receive at her hi-tech spas. Her longing to help people in both her personal and professional life has been a driving force behind her success.
Founded in 1998 on Madison Avenue, Barshop’s business began out of her own desire to find the ultimate hair removal technique. It has since expanded to six result-oriented hi-tech spas nationally. In addition to traditional beauty treatments offered at completely bare, Cindy is also the pioneer behind the “sculpted tan,” the Vatoo, the Vajewel, the Go Naked facial, and the Foxy Bikini. Cindy has been recognized by many top national beauty magazines including Vogue, InStyle, Allure, and Cosmopolitan. She also makes regular appearances on top tier TV shows including, “Live with Regis and Kelly,” “Good Morning America,” and ABC News. Cindy was recently seen on season 4 of “The Real Housewives of New York” displaying her no nonsense attitude. Cindy relishes in her role as a beauty authority and welcomes the opportunity to help anyone feel more beautiful.
Cindy’s most important role to date is being a single mom to her beloved twin girls, 2 year old Jesse and Zoe. Cindy went through IVF to have her children and unlike many who shy away from the conversation, Cindy is writing a children’s book on the subject.
Aside from her business and her girls, Cindy’s other main priority is her philanthropy. She is involved with a variety of charities such as the Starlight Foundation, MacDella Foundation, Project 360, and Heather on Earth foundation.
