Wayne Bernath was born in Philadelphia and graduated from Baker University in Kansas. He and his wife moved to Las Vegas in 1973 where he worked as and editor and entertainment editor for the Las Vegas SUN, ShowBiz Weekly and the Las Vegas Review-Journal. In 1992 he founded WAY Entertainment, LLC and became director of publicity, advertising and marketing for magician Lance Burton. He also worked as a publicist for "Crazy Girls" and won an ADDY Award for an ad depicting the dancers from behind. He also worked as a publicist for "An Evening at La Cage." Some of his other clients included "Fashionistas," hynotist Justin Tranz, Marshall Sylver, Micheal Johns and Terry Stokes also hypnotists. He's worked with charities such as Opportunity Village, New Vista Community and The Variety Club pro bono.
