The reason Philippines has the most is not because of talent but because of pity -- there's no way they are going to win a Miss Universe pageant....so this is their consolation prize!

PHILIPPINES is the country most awarded as MISS PHOTOGENIC.

Filipinos are keep on voting because different reasons:
(1) Obsession or thirst for winning the crown: Philippines did not the bring home the crown and the title for more than 30 years and so voting for Miss Photogenic Award is a pre-assured consolation for their delegate.
(2)This is their way to tell the word that Filipinas are really deserving to become Miss Universe.
On the positve side, This is the way to show their confidence to their delegates for the pageant. In short, showing their moral support.
I hope that our candidate, Pamela BIanca Manalo, 22, 5ft. 10in., smart woman, will become the third Filipina to become Miss Universe.

I don't like this award because people vote via internet. I think that photographers should vote for that and maybe the public can participate too and then the votes can be combined and then ... Voila! Miss Photogenic!
They might as well call this the "Miss Philippines Award" because Miss Philippines wins every year.
So I think that the Miss Universe Organization needs to come around and figure something out so other countries can have a chance to win this. It gets boring to see the same country win year after year! -

Its the Truth of Life that most candidate specially from Latin Americas(Venezuela, Puerto RIco, Honduras and such) and the US had undergone reconstructive surgeries like the surgery in the ribs and the nose. Where in fact it is not allowed by the Miss Universe org, Honestly most Asian ladies including The Philippines have not been engaged in such allegations. Even that most of the Doctors and Nurses practicing such surgery coming from these countries (Philippines..). So the people of the world and the universe knows that Asians, where Philippines belongs do not do this practice for the titles sake. Instead, they win because they deserve it... To be called as Miss Photogenic. In such I agree.
