My oh my, how time flies...
posted by Crystle Stewart at 07:26pm on 03/20/2009
I am counting down the days to crown the next Miss USA. I can't believe it has almost been a year since I was crowned. This week I stayed in New York, attending acting class and preparing for the pageant.
I can imagine how the 2009 contestants feel right now as I was in the same position they are one year ago. They are probably finishing up there shopping, studying for personal interview and finally getting their evening gowns. I can't wait to meet all of the contestants and share any knowledge I have about pageants.

Natasha, you show restraint and grace in style. The very definition of inner elegance. Carry it to the top.

crystle, as a texan myself, i want to congratulate you on a job well done.
you've been a role model for not only women, but people in texas. the state
is often criticised, and stereotyped as if we are country. you've shown the usa,
and the world what we are really made of. t

Crystle,
I just want you to know that everyone in Texas is soo proud of you. You have been an amazing Miss USA, and you leave some pretty big shoes to fill by your successor.
I know the Lord has many great plans for you - Just make sure you come "home" every now and then to say Hi! ;o)
Love and Blessings!

you are an amazing Miss USA and the years to come will open many doors for you, your name will always be in the History books of MISS USA, I have a question though, how come the MISS USA list of titleholders does not include the pre 1963 winners?

Crystle, I am so proud of you. I can't believe someone from my home town has made it this far! I had the pleasure of meeting you at a Shrimp Fest in Fort Bend, and you are the sweetest person in person as well. As I am preparing for my first pageant in august, I hope I can compete with your grace and intelligence. You inspire me! Keep up the good work!

Crystle,
I want to congratulate you on a job well done. You have handled yourself with class, beauty and dignity. This is just what the Miss USA program needed, a role model like yourself. You have made us proud and I know being a good ol TEXAS boy I am so very proud of you. I have watched you now for 5 years seeking your goal and your determination is incredible. I am so glad that you never gave up. The night you won Miss Texas I had no doubt that you would be the next Miss USA and you were!!!! Thank you for being a role model to many young girls and for your desire to promote self esteem and growth in the young women you teach. You will have an impact in many of their lives. Your motivation and determination is a testiment to others to stick to your dreams, and never give up. I am a Director of a Pageant here in Texas and I hope one day to have someone just like you to present to the state and to the nation. Thank you for making Texas and the USA so very proud of you. I wish you the best in the future and cant wait too see what you decide to do, your dreams are just beginning. God Bless and best to you always.

Crystle, you rock! You exude beauty and class, and you will go down in history as one of the most successful and stunningly beautiful Miss USAs ever.
P.S. You might want to have someone spell check and/or edit any posts you do. In the sentence, "They are probably finishing up there shopping...", the word "there" needs to be spelled "their." It's stuff like that which perpetuates the unfortunate stereotype that beauty queens have no brains. And you are intelligent, we all know that...just ask someone to proofread your posts before you actually post them. Love ya, Crystle!
