NYC Events with Stormi

Hola!
I am really nervous about what I am going to do on May 17th and my mom keeps reminding me that I don't have a plan yet. Does anyone have any suggestions?? I think if I don't have a job by then, I’ll just work at the Miss Universe office and be a travel manager :) Then I could still do all the cool events and live vicariously through the new titleholders...but that might be a little weird.
Stormi and I volunteered at Project Sunshine this last Monday and we made friends with 3 of the other volunteers there. It was so fun! We sat there making invitations and talking about astrology and the different pressures on men and women the whole time - it was a pretty deep and stimulating discussion. It is so interesting how people's life experiences can lead them to have different opinions and outlooks on life. Stormi and I went to dinner that night and it was so good to catch up and talk about school, work, and future plans. We don't get a lot of quality time together because we are both so busy and don't live together!
We also got to go to this super fun event on Wednesday night called, "A Slice of Latin America," which was a fundraiser by The Committee for Hispanic Children and Families. The best part was that it featured delicious Latin cuisine from a multitude of restaurants from all over NYC and I left feeling extremely satisfied. I snagged a bunch of business cards and menus so I can experience some more fine-dining in my final months :(
Well I'm going to go sulk in my room now about the fact I am about to not be quite as special anymore. :)
I know – I’m being a bit dramatic… I hope everyone has a great day!
Love,
Kristen

Kristen, you're my favorite Miss USA, I must confess the only one. You know why? Because you are SPECIAL and will always be special. Don't worry about getting a job as soon as your reign is over something will come up for sure; you can still make it to DWTS. A bright person like you will have no problems finding the right job. Remember you're in New York and anything can happen,
