Fashion Week and The US Open

So this week was wonderful! Stormi got back on Sunday and we have been hanging out and going to events together! It was fashion week this week, and we got to go to Christian Siriano and Custo Barcelona. The Custo show was absolutely fantastic! The colors and fabrics were brilliant and so exotic looking with lots of glitz and glam.
I also got to attend Venus and Serena Williams doubles match at the US Open this week! The coolest part was that I was so close to them, I felt like I could have reached out and touched them! They are incredible players and so inspiring to watch. The next night, I attended the US Open Hall of Fame Gala at Cipriani hotel, which was spectacular. The people there were so nice, warm, and welcoming. They were probably my favorite crowd of people yet! Stormi and I went to the Eric Trump Foundation Golf Benefit Dinner for St. Jude's hospital at Trump International Golf course, and it was quite successful! Jimmy Fallon was the entertainment and had everyone rolling out of their seats for an hour. I volunteered at the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure at Central Park on Sunday, and I really think that is probably the prettiest walk there is with everything and everyone in pink and white. There were about 16,000 participants and 450 volunteers, a great turnout!
I just got back to NYC from Wilmington, NC where I spoke at a ceremony where military members were gaining their citizenship on the USS battleship on the Cape Fear River. The speakers were all inspiring and it was a very emotional time for everyone. It was such an honor to be a part of such an important day for not only those gaining citizenship, but also their families. These military members have shown that being an American citizen is not a title, but an act. I can think of no more honorable way to give back to your homeland.
Friday, I have an interview with Lifetime television on a TV show called "The Balancing Act" so I am pumped for that! Be sure to tune in next week to find out how it went!
Have a wonderful week everyone!
