Hello! This past week has been so wonderful! I performed my salsa dance at World Salsa Congress on Sunday night, and it was SO exhilarating! I had the time of my life and I had a wonderful support team there with me! My new friendship with the dancers of Baila Society is so special, I am so happy to have them in my life. I have learned a lot of from them about the culture, history, and meaning of salsa and Latin dance. We spent countless hours working and rehearsing for this performance and I am so sad that is over. I have an emptiness in my stomach now :-(
I volunteered at Susan G. Komen this week in order to get prepared for the upcoming Race for the Cure event this Sunday at Central Park! I also got to do a photo shoot for Sherri Hill with my sister, Kenzie, so it was fun to see her!
Thursday, I had the once in a lifetime chance to go to the US Open and sit in the President's seats of the President's box, directly behind Venus and Serena William in their doubles match ahh!!!! It was so crazy cool! This weekend will be filled with fashion week shows and the Race for the Cure event at Central Park, so pray for good weather!
Quote of the week: Live your life as an exclamation, not an explanation. :-)
Catch ya later!
