Emma Rofkar is currently a junior at Genoa High School and also a post-secondary student at Owens Community College. Aside from being Miss Ohio Teen USA 2014, Emma participates in varsity cheerleading, student council, prom committee, spring musicals, and choir. She supports many organizations such as the Pink Ribbon Girls, Cheer for a Cure, and United Cerebral Palsy. Something Emma takes pride in is her persistence. The person who taught her to be persistent is her older brother, Jordan, who was born with cerebral palsy. Shehave grown up watching what he had to go through, but no matter how many times my brother has fallen, he always gets right back up. Everywhere I go I tell my story, hoping to inspire someone to continue to work for their dreams.
