Profile: Eric McLendon

A Chicago Native, Eric McLendon has achieved great success in a variety of career endeavors. A journalism and political science major at Texas Christian University, Mr. McLendon spent the first 14 years of his career working as a sportscaster. An Emmy award winning journalist he worked in Huntsville Alabama, Beaumont Texas, Mobile Alabama, Hartford Connecticut, Sacramento California and finally in New York at WNBC-TV and ABC News. Once in New York Eric found another creative outlet on screen and stage appearing on daytime dramas, on “Law and Order”, “Criminal Intent” and on the Food Network where he hosts his own show, “Recipe for Success.” In between stints in several Off-Broadway productions he worked as a Ford Model and did countless national commercials both on camera and as a voice over artist. Eric now finds himself working for the number one real estate company in New York City, The Corcoran Group. A finalist for the Real Estate Board of New York’s Rookie of the Year award several years ago, McLendon enjoys working with clients to help them achieve their real estate needs throughout Manhattan. When not working he enjoys golf, music and spending time with his dog.
