Are you more of a Miss Teen, Miss USA or Miss Universe?

Even though I have watched the Ms. USA pageant. I really like the Ms. Universe pageant. I like the fact that there are more candidates from different parts of the world and this is a small way of all cultures getting to know each other, if only for a month.

If you could change one thing about the world what would it be?

We need to be more focused on the happenings of the world. A lot of us are preoccupied with the small things like work, money and labels and I feel that if we all did our share to make this world a better place we could change it one person at a time. If we got involved in charity work we could end homelessness, hunger and even certain diseases. I for one am involved with three children organizations, Make A Wish, Project Sunshine and St. Jude Children Research Hospital.

Which celebrity would you invite to a dinner party and why?

There are so many people that I would love to have dinner with, like Maya Angelou, Ghandi, heck even Oprah, but if I had to choose one celebrity it would be Marilyn Monroe. I would like to discover how difficult it was to be her. Most actors arrive on the set, become a character and then go back to being themselves, but Marilyn did not get that opportunity. She was transformed into Marilyn when in fact she was Norma Jean Baker. She had to learn how to walk, talk and breathe like a sex symbol when in fact it was a character that she was portraying and was not allowed to terminate. I feel that this and the many men who loved and used her led to her demise. She is truly missed.

What famous person does your personality most parallel?

I would have to say a combination of Bono and Robin Williams. I love to do charity work but then again i love to laugh and make people laugh.

If you could be a part of any reality show (Idol, Runway), which would you choose and why?

Make Me A Supermodel. As a young person, I actually did a little modeling and everyone was always saying how i should be a model. Even though i had the looks i did not have the height. I am only 5' 5" so my dreams of making it big went down the drain.

If you showed me around your state (county, city, community, etc.), where would you take me? Why?

There are so many beautiful things to see here in New York, like the Statute of Liberty, Central Park, the Empire State Building, etc.., but I would take you to the World Trade Center site. I find that a lot of tourist do want to visit this site and its a way of us showing the world that we did survive this tragedy and although it's been a slow process in rebuilding we have managed to stay together as a state and nation and united we could achieve anything.

If you could change one thing about beauty pageants, what would it be?

First, i do agree that we should bring back the days when we had escorts and the little boys and girls walking down the aisle with the contestants during the gown competition. I also feel that some of the judges really don't know much about beauty and what we really are looking for in a beauty queen. Its not just looks but what has she done in her community to make it better and what can she bring to the organization. We have had many beautiful beauty queens that were just that beauty, but nothing else to offer the world or their hometown. Oxana Federova, i think that was her name, was a clear example of what i am talking about and she eventually had her crown taken away.
