Starla Sampaco is a student at the University of Washington, where she is working towards a degree in Journalism. She aspires to become a broadcast journalist, and she is currently the senior host of the Seattle youth media show "What's Good, 206?" which features inspirational people who make a positive impact on the community. Starla is proud to be a Filipino-American, and her upbringing has influenced her appreciation of diversity. She promotes the message that being different is not the same as being defective and strives to inspire other young women to feel confidently beautiful—whether they are blonde or brunette, tall or petite, or anything in between. In Starla’s spare time, she enjoys ballroom dancing, quoting Miss Congeniality, spending time with her sister/biological best friend Twyla, and eating Oreo McFlurries. Her motto is "Never settle for putting in an average effort. Ever."

Starla is trained in competitive International Latin ballroom dancing. She was once a ballroom dancing instructor for senior citizens.
Starla hosts the Seattle youth media show "What's Good, 206?" and her dream job is to host "Dancing with the Stars".
Starla was voted "Most Likely to Become Famous" by her graduating class in high school.
