Attending an all girls school, Savannah Wix has maintained a 4.0 GPA in all AP and Honors courses and belongs to four national honors societies. Not only is she academically focused, but also excels in theater! She belongs to Broadway Artists' Alliance, has performed in Carnegie Hall with a national honor choir, and sang the national anthem at a San Francisco Giants game in front of almost 10,000 people! In addition, she has taught herself how to play guitar and piano.
She has used her musical abilities for community outreach, as well. HeartStrings, a nonprofit organization she founded, is dedicated to promoting music therapy for children suffering with illnesses, disabilities, and abuse. She believes in using creativity in writing music to overcome adversity and build self-esteem.
