    Miss Universe 2010, the 59th Miss Universe pageant, will be held possibly in Croatia in July.The venue will be announced soon, Stefanía Fernández from Venezuela, Miss Universe 2009, will crown her successor at the end of this event. More than 80 countries and territories will compete for the title and the pageant will broadcast live on NBC and Telemundo.

    ONE OF MY DREAMS IS TO SEE A MISS HAITI IN MISS UNIVERSE PAGEANT. Miss Haiti does not participate in MU since 1989. I have a great memory of Gerthie David, Miss Haiti 1975, who impressed the international judges, among them Jean-Claude Killy (Olympic champ) and Sarah Vaugham (America’s performer), with her elegance and simplicity, at the Miss Universe in San Salvador (the most notable jury in MU history). She was the second black delegate to be named vice-Miss Universe in MU history. Great MISS HAITI UNIVERSE GERTHIE DAVID

    Does anyone know if there is a minimum height demand for the Miss Universe contestants? Miss Finland 2010 was just selected by televoting. I think she is very beatiful but she is only 167 or 168 cm tall.

    I am almost sure Marelisa Gibson, Miss Venezuela will be Miss Universe 2010. Guys, you have to see in person, as I have seen, the absolutely beautiful Venezuelan beauty queens when they are out there competing for a crown. Man! These girls are perfection to the highest possible limit: Beauty, elegance, training, glamour, charisma, and personality are the ingredients of that killing cocktail that only the Venezuelan representatives master to perfection. No question, and no doubt about it, Miss Venezuela will take to her country the third Miss Universe crown in a row. You bet it! After all, Why punishing Venezuela for sending to the M.U. pageant the best contestants?
