Exploring NYC and Learning About Golf
posted by Stefania Fernandez at 02:14pm on 04/08/2010
Hello, Everyone! Recently, I have spent my time visiting new places in this wonderful city. There are so many places I haven’t seen yet! I took the ferry down to the Statue of Liberty and took many great pictures. Then I took the bus and I went to Brooklyn for the first time. Brooklyn is definitely a lot quieter than Manhattan! The highlight of my day exploring was the scary and incredibly fun helicopter ride over Manhattan!!!
Later in the week I attended the opening event of Donald Trump’s new TV show on the Golf Channel with Miss Teen USA, Stormi Henley, and she taught me a few golf basics. At the end I said, “Thank you sooooo much, Stormi!” But I didn’t really understand anything about how golf works… I only know there are 18 holes – haha! But she promised she would teach me :)! I also want to tell you that on Friday, April 2, I volunteered at Gay Men’s Health Crisis with Miss USA, Kristen Dalton. We both enjoyed it a lot.
Besides all that I did my usual routine of good work-outs and challenging English classes… I will be posting more exciting news since I will be back on the road again very soon!
Los quiero besos!
