My Mom's Visit

Hey Guys! This past weekend my mom and some of my family came to visit. Ahh, I was so excited to see them. While they were here we took a tour of the big city. I hadn't been every where here so it was exciting for me as well. We walked across the Brooklyn bridge, went to Battery Park to get a view of the Statue of Liberty, made a trip to China Town and Little Italy, and went to the top of the Empire State building during one of the nights. I've never seen such an amazing view of the city like I did that night. Also, another night we met up with some of my friends and then we all went to a comedy show. We walked in late so let's just say they picked on us the rest of the night. Haha! This coming weekend I fly out to Atlanta, GA for a Girl Talk event.
The past couple of weeks I have been working on a leadership lesson to present to middle school girls for this coming weekend. The lesson is about going for your dreams and ways to help achieve them. I will be hanging out with several groups of girls, mentoring them, and presenting my leadership lesson. Also, going to Atlanta means a weekend full of shopping. Haha! Whoooo hoooo!!
